Introduction

Japan gave impetus to begin migration when it ended the “sakoku” of three centuries, achieved rapprochement with other nations through the signing of Treaties of Friendship and Trade (Japan had signed such a treaty with Chile in 1897), and encouraged the “dekasegi” in order to alleviate, in part, the high social drama with which the bulk of the population lived. Under direct government auspices, thousands of families responded to the call and dispersed throughout the world in search of employment that Japan was unable to offer. Hace sólo cuatro meses (octubre de 2016) que volvía a escribir sobre el ex Presidente Fujimori (“De Duterte a Fujimori: Reflexiones”) recordando, insistiendo, remachando por justicia y reconocimiento. Los motivos los he estado presentando y repitiendo desde el día mismo en que abrieron ese enredoso y turbio proceso judicial para achacarle culpabilidades que no lograron fundamentar y que finalmente quedaron reducidas  a retórica leguleya. CONSECUENCIAS DERIVADAS DE ESTAS CAUSALES

En Chile no existe una Colonia japonesa por la pertinaz campaña llevada a cabo por los grupos de poder del siglo pasado para evitarse el peligro de la presencia interna de un colectivo japonés que por trabajo desmedido pudiera apropiarse de sus muchas tierras, por su “multiplicación en progresión geométrica” y por su histórica peligrosidad grupal.
