Happiness is Celebrating Girls' Day

Submitted by: Elaine Koyama, Los Angeles, California, United States

This is a snapshot of my now-adult daughter Kristen at age 5. Her Nisei grandparents gifted both Kristen and her cousin Lora each with a set of Hinamatsuri dolls to share the cultural heritage of our Japanese roots. We enjoyed having Hinamatsuri mochi as a special treat. Yum!
