Janice Marion Wright LaMoree describes her experiences on her trip to Washington, D.C. for her father's court case in front of the Supreme Court when she was 8 years old. Janice Marion Wright LaMoree is the daughter of J. Marion Wright who was the key attorney for Issei doctors to win their U.S. Supreme Court case, Jordan vs. Tashiro, to establish the Japanese Hospital of Los Angeles in Boyle Heights, CA. She is introduced by moderator Gwenn Jensen at the Discover Nikkei program, "Japanese Hospital: Caring for the Pre-war Nikkei Community" at the Japanese American National Museum, Tateuchi Democracy Forum on Saturday, April 11, 2010.
