Takehiro Umemura
Graduated from the Department of Sports Science, School of Human Sciences, Waseda University in March 2005. After that, he studied sports management at London Metropolitan University and obtained an MA in December 2007. He joined the New Field Development Team of the Nippon Foundation International Cooperation Group in April 2008. In August 2004, he interned for one month at the Los Angeles Dodgers.

日本財団の奨学生として日本の大学で学ぶ中南米出身の日系人留学生ら５人が７月２４日、岐阜県美濃加茂市の在日ブラジル人学校（Sociedade Educacional Brazilian School）で出前授業を行った。大手メーカーの部品工場が集中し人口の１割を外国人が占める同市では、世界同時不況の影響で職を失う外国人労働者が増えているが、子供たちはいたって元気。留学生からは「子供たちの笑顔を見て安心した」との声も出た。 出前授業に参加したのは、国立がんセンターの研究生で日…
