Got to meet Hawaiian Nisei - also many Niseis from the West Coast. Had a good time trading life styles.
Missed most whilst in the military
Mostly the parents, food and friends
Most important thing, personally, to come from military experience?
Being in combat with all Nisei was the most satisfying experience, knowing you have backup behind and next to you at all times. Confidence is at a very high level.
