“Oriental Rice Snacks” and “Master Zen Party Mix” are distributed by Hershey Import Co., Inc. in New Jersey. Labeling these express snacks as Oriental or Zen to some consumers may serve as a quick experience of eating Asian or Japanese food when they eat these snacks on the go. These snacks are products of Japanese or Asian stereotypes: using Oriental Rice and Master Zen. These labels exoticize the snacks making it appealing to those who are infatuated with what they think is Asian culture or Asian food.
