Karate demonstration by Ashley Arashiro

Arashiro has been studying Okinawa Ryuei Ryu Karate Do for 14 years. She is currently a nidan (2nd degree black belt) and continues training on her own at college. Her most accomplished tournament was in Germany for the 2006 World Karate Championships. She received a Gold medal for kumite (sparring) and a Silver medal for kata (forms). She is a 6-time National Champion in kata and a 5-time Ozawa International Cup Champion.
