生活状況

Barracks and mess hall, and occasional movie on post during basic training. 'Occupied' dormitory-type building with dining hall in replacement depot; meals were decent; only entertainment was a U. S. O. - type facility. At message center: Lived in private dwelling with owner consigned to a basement apartment. Excellent meals at a villa (officers' quarters) prepared by a hired civilian cook.
