Slept in fox holes, grounds, etc. At times, especially in Kiska, did not snow for month. 'Tash' describes these conditions in his diary I found.

Horrible feeling while in fox-hole with insects or whatever, etc. in same small hole, you can't move or don't dare.

''Tash'' is now deceased. The preceding infornmation was gathered from a little diary I (spouse) found. Otherwise, most of his activities were very, very, confidential, so I do not know the details. by Kei Sugimoto (spouse).
