Residence: Kailua, HI. Retired time keeper at Dole Corporation. Professional baseball umpire. Played in several baseball leagues before WW II and was a member of the 1938 Asahi team, which won the Hawaii Major League title that year. He served in the 100th Battalion and played on the unit's legendary "Aloha Team" as it competed with teams in the Midwest, Arkansas and North Africa. After the war, he began his career as an umpire and he officiated at the games of visiting major league teams, Rainbow games as well as those of high school, Makule League and mountain ball teams.
