After WW II, I attended Chicago Technical College and was employed with the Illinois Department of Transportation as a civil engineer.

I married my wife Betty on April 30, 1947 and have two children, Karen and Byron, and 4 grandchildren.

My hobbies include golf, fishing and the computer.

My brother was also in the Army in the 100th Infantry Battalion.
