Maz Baba on the Daiko

Masato "Maz' Baba shows the citizens of Mt. Shasta, many in the audience who witnessed his childhood, how much more mature and powerful his taiko abilities have grown. Maz is featured in a popular DVD documentary, "The Spirit of Taiko," along with Grand Master Seiichi Tanaka, founder of the San Francisco Dojo that sparked the taiko movement across the United States; and American Master, Kenny Endo, the first non-Japanese national honored with a "natori," (stage name and master's license) in Hogaku hayashi (royal court musicianship).
