Living conditions
MISLS - Camp Savage as a student, lived in temporary barracks with separate building for showers and latrines. Ate regular army food in mess hall.

Most important thing, personally, to come from military experience?
Learned a lot about my cultural heritage during occupation duties in Japan. Made many friends both among occupation personnel and Japanese government people.
