Water Tower at the Topaz Camp. Robert told me he would often climb the tower to take photographs, of course photography was illegal until the final days of the camps, so he didn't take any photographs until 1945. The Water towers were located beyond the gates of the camp, but since he was working as an electrician and there was a nearby transformer he could venture out that far.

This image was produced by the Topaz Museum in 1998, on the back of the image it says: "1943, Topaz, Utah. Water was stored in 4 giant redwood elevated tanks, said to be some of the largest in the world. 500,000 gallons were stored."
