Ralph Lazo served in the armed forces after graduating from Manzanar High School. He was a classmate of Tama's, and often would attend Maryknoll's church and dances. This photograph shows Ralph at the beach with Tama after he had returned from his service in the army. Frank took the picture.

This is a picture of Ralph Lazo and Frank's wife, Tama, at the beach. This picture was taken after World War II ended, and after Ralph got out of the army. Ralph was Tama's classmate, and used to attend Maryknoll Church and dances.

Frank Kikuchi was born in Seattle, Washington on August 21, 1924. He spent his childhood in Washington, Utah and Los Angeles, California. Frank attended Maryknoll School and Cathedral High School. During World War II, Frank was incarcerated at Manzanar, where he developed relationships with the Miyatake family, Sue Kunitomi and his best friend, Hikogi Takeuchi. After the war, Frank got married and established his own grocery store, F and H Market. Frank is currently a docent at the Japanese American National Museum.
