¿En lo personal, qué obtuvo de su experiencia militar?

My military experience has instilled in me a sense of pride in serving my country as a Japanese-American. I would like my family to understand how important it was to show allegience to my country in spite of the injustices imposed on my family and other Japanese-Americans.

Información adicional

1). Since taking all of the training, I am curious to know where we were supposed to go. Since General MacArthur did not want any OSS to participate in Pacific area, we had to scrub our mission and move into CBI area.

2). When I got inducted, I was 28 years old - considered an old man. I was the only son, with no brothers or sisters. Just my parents. I can't believe they inducted me. Even when I asked for 10 days deferment, they turned me down.

3). We stayed low profile until this year. Some of the people considered we were traitor. Before I went into service, my Dad told me what ever I do, don't be ashamed to do my duty.
