ウェブサイト「In the Shadow of My Country -祖国の影で-日系アメリカ人アーティストの追憶(www.densho.org/shadow)とこの教師用リソース・ガイドは、米日財団の寛大な助成金によって可能となった。このプロジェクトは、ワシントン州アート・コミッションとナショナル・エンドーメント・フォー・ザ・アーツから補助金を受けている。

モニカ・ソネ著、「日系二世の娘」からの抜粋「ハーモニー収容所での生活」は、著者の許可を得て転載された。1953年にリトル・ブラウン・アンド・カンパニーより初版が出版され、1979年にワシントン大学プレスによって再版された。

このプロジェクトは、ダグ・セルウインとポーラ・フレイザーが教育コンサルタントを担当した。

Densho(将来へ伝えるの意味)は、第二次世界大戦中の日系アメリカ人の強制収容を記録した体験記や歴史写真などのデジタル・アーカイブを開発している。このアーカイブやウェブサイト(www.densho.org)上に掲載された学習用カリキュラムを通して、市民の自由と社会正義の大切さを啓蒙する。
