Save the Date.  The Little Tokyo Historical Society will be holding a “Community Photo Collection Weekend” on Saturday, May 31 at Union Church Los Angeles (401 E. Third Street) from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, June 1 at Far East Lounge (353 E. First Street) from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Please take a look through your photo albums, closets, boxes, attic, basement, garage, office, etc. for pictures and documents of Little Tokyo of any era.  Your important photos will be digitally scanned and added to LTHS’ archival collection for permanent preservation for scholarly research purposes and may be used in future LTHS publications.  Other documents or memorabilia associated with Little Tokyo will also be considered.  This LTHS activity is just but one commemorating the 130th Anniversary of Little Tokyo with special programming throughout the year.  Please contact littletokyohs@gmail.com with any questions or visit www.littletokyohs.org.
