Tai Bickhard resides in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley, and has always been passionate about social justice. As a proud Asian American, she knows the importance of telling our country's diverse stories. Once she discovered the story of the Japanese American Incarceration, she was determined to do her part in telling others about this little-known chapter of our national history. She hopes that this article will illuminate one of the many thousands of stories of the Japanese-American Incarceration and illustrate the beauty and diversity of the immigrant diaspora.
