Natalie Nakase, a basketball player for Marina High School, won the Oliver Outstanding Nikkei Athlete of the Year award in 1998. She went on to play basketball with UCLA, coach Japanese American youth basketball, and train with the WBNA. She discusses what it meant to her to win the Oliver award and her plans to pursue her basketball dreams.
