First couple pages contain the book's forward, table of contents (with listing of families/businesses appearing), and beuatiful calligraphy that capture the mood of these early entrepreneurs (one page says "SEIKOU" or SUCCESS).

With each photograph is the business owner's name, business address, and hometown. 

Unfortunately, due to internment and other factors, only a handful of these family names are famliar to me.
