Living conditions
Slept in barracks during basic training. Slept in pup tent in Europe while in combat, slept in barracks in Europe and in the continental U.S. while enroute home to Hawaii to be discharged. While in barracks, I used the shower room daily. On maneuvers and in combat I took 'sponge' baths using towel and hot water whenever I can. Had hot meals all the time except during maneuvers we had C and K rations for training. For entertainment we played cards.
Most vivid memory of military experience
Nothing unusual.
Missed most whilst in the military
Rice, Chinese food.
