Special appetizer dish from Wakatay Restaurant - Peruvian Nikkei Cuisine in Gardena.

In addition to looking really pretty, all three colorful dishes were also delicious! The dishes are from left to right: Tiradito de pescado, Causa Nikkei, and Choros la criolla.

Tiradito is similar to ceviche. This one was filet slices of sole sashimi soaked in citrus and had a spicy yellow sauce. Very light.

The causa nikkei is Wakatay's variation of the dish. The main part is a yummy, mashed yellow potato. It's topped by nori strips with guacamole and mousse-like tuna on the side.

The third part is mussels with a salsa of red onions.
