Lucuma is a fruit native to Peru. The waitress described it as a cross between a peach and an avocado. It has a large pit like an avocado. She said that it reminded her of her hometown of Lima, Peru.

The ice cream had a mild, but interesting taste and texture. It's apparently very popular in many parts of the world.
