Born in Tokyo. Joined Singapore Airlines as a flight attendant in 1989. After leaving the company, worked in human resources development as a manager at a recruitment agency and gave interview training to students at a vocational school. In 2000, she became a flight attendant for Varig Brazilian Airlines. In 2009, she married a Japanese-American and moved to the United States. After that, influenced by her father-in-law, who is a member of the Southern California Hiroshima Prefectural Association, she became a member of Hiroken, an affiliated organization of the Hiroshima Prefectural Association for the younger generation.
