Zacharie Leclair


Zacharie Leclair was born in Montréal. He earned a Ph.D. in U.S. history from the Université du Québec à Montréal. Aside from lecturing there, he also works for  Mennonite Central Committee. His researches center on the Wilson Era, internationalism, Christian philanthropy, and peace movements during World War One.

The wartime confinement of Japanese Canadians is a landmark in the history of civil rights and race relations nationwide.
