The Nomo Tornado in 1995 (Japanese)

(Japanese) It was 1995 when Nomo first came here. Some people at this museum might not have been born at the time, but 1995 turned out to be a very special year. Nomo tested himself here and that year both won the Rookie of the Year award and was chosen as the starting pitcher at the All-Star game in Texas. American fans and Japanese fans alike, regardless of national borders, were overjoyed. That year, I think Nomo made baseball a truly wonderful thing.
