Delight in a day of family fun! Learn the amazing art of origami!


• Learn how to make an origami frog and see how far it can jump!

• Design your own wrapping paper to wrap up something special

• Make winter weather in Los Angeles with paper snowflakes

• Ruthie’s Origami Corner: Star light, star bright…come learn how to make an origami pop-up star

Please Note: All workshops are first come, first serve. Please sign up at the membership table when you arrive.

11AM – 4PM: Drop in origami class

12:30PM: Basic kid-friendly origami workshop with Vicky Mihara Avery (7 years or older, limit 20 students)

1 – 4PM: Kidding Around the Kitchen will teach you how to make your own “fruit leather pouches” with a fun healthy filling

2PM: Japanese gift-wrapping workshop with Vicky Mihara Avery (7 years up, limit 20 students)

3:30PM: Furoshiki workshop with Vicky Mihara Avery (7 years or older, limit 20 students)
