The sakura trees in Little Tokyo are still fairly young. Each year, the trees bloom with more fragile flowers.

This photo was taken on March 7, 2007. It's in front of a Cuban restaurant. This spring, this sakura tree was the largest of the ones planted along Central Avenue in the Little Tokyo area of Los Angeles, California. I think that maybe it's because it gets extra water when the restaurant hoses down the area in front of their area. They have some tables & chairs set out there.
