(Nancy Yang)

Nancy Yang is a student at UC Santa Barbara and has worked as an intern at the Japanese American Museum of San Jose (JAMsj). Nancy believes that her work with JAMsj has made her realize that the reverberations of internment are still with us today and that it is important to remain vigilant in protecting our civil liberties.

Connie Young Yu and Leslie Masunaga are Japanese American Museum of San Jose guest curators. At the time of this interview, they were working on the JAMsj exhibit, On Common Ground: Chinatown and Japantown, San Jose, which opened in September 2012.
