リン・ウー・リウは、フレッド・T・コレマツ公民権教育研究所の初代所長です。現職に就く前は、香港のタイム誌およびタイム・ドットコムの記者およびビデオプロデューサーとして、また北京の中国中央テレビのアンカーおよび記者として、アジアで5年間を過ごしました。リンは、1970年にバークレーで起きた日系アメリカ人警察官の未解決殺人事件に関するドキュメンタリー映画『オフィサー・ツカモト』の監督を務めています。
