エリザベス・イシダさんは、2007年6月24日から8月15日まで、全米日系人博物館でNCI（ニッケイ・コミュニティ・インターンシップ）プログラムのインターンとして活動し、日系アルバムのコレクション作成に携わりました。イシダさんは、UCLAの卒業生で、専攻は文化人類学と古代文明でした。現在は、理学療法の博士号を目指し、大学院を受験する予定です。イシダさんは、勉強や仕事以外の時間を、「第2の家族」である太鼓プロジェクトメンバーとの活動に費やしています。その他にも、イシダさんは、ディスニーの魅力とジョージルーカスの才能に魅了されており、時間があれば、初めての場所やどこか美しい土地を訪れたり、歌ったり踊ったりすることが好きだそうです。また、ディスカバー・ニッケイという素晴らしい世界への貢献もしていきたいと語っています。
