シャーロン・イナハラ

シャロン・イナハラは、三世で、オレゴン州ポートランドで生まれ、南カリフォルニアのクレアモント・カレッジに通いました。美術の学位を取得し、北イングランドで個展を開きました。サンフランシスコでは、ローリング・ストーン誌やアウトサイド誌の写真編集者として働きました。その後、ロサンゼルスとハワイに住み、広告、小売、映画のフォトスタイリストとして働きました。現在は、愛するポートランドに住み、ナイキやその他のスポーツウェアのクライアントのスタイリングを手掛け、余暇には絵を描いています。シャロンは、オレゴン大学の新入生である18歳の息子マットをとても誇りに思っています。

Seven years ago, I moved back to Portland to be with my family. During this time, I was compelled to pursue painting on a large scale. As a Sansei (third generation Japanese), I became fascinated with my parents’ experiences during the events surrounding WWII and the incarceration of Japanese Americans.
