Salinas ochigo: installation of bell tower on tenth anniversary of Salinas Buddhist Church, Salinas , CA, November 17, 1934

The bell tower was installed at the height of the Great Depression, in 1937. It houses the largest bell of its kind, the bonsho. The bell was imported from Japan.
