生活状況
(Comments from his daughter) My Dad never ate Spam after the war - he had his fill. One of the things he talked about was the trip to Japan and Philippines on board a ship. It didn't sound pleasant.
その他の情報
(Comments from his daughter)My Dad never talked about the War or Camp much. The information I have I discovered among his personal papers. My mother passed away last year (1995) and I'm beginning to realize how much I don't know about them and our family history. Roy Ida was a member of the Commodore Perry Post of the American Legion for many years. My Dad's family was interned at Poston and my Mom's at Gila. He was one of thirteen children. Five of the brothers served in the military.
