This was a batch of ika (squid) that was being barbecued at the Orange County Buddhist Church Obon for their Ika Teriyaki booth. Once they were grilled, the ika was sliced up and put into plastic salad-size bowls in a bed of lettuce.
This batch had a lot of legs in it. I took a photo of a different batch that was just the body parts.
I didn't eat any of the ika, but I heard it was really good. Here's what it looked like in the bowl: 2007 Orange County Buddhist Church Obon - Ika Teriyaki 2,
