Color silent amateur films by Dave Tatsuno (1913-2006), a businessman in the San Francisco Bay area. Composed largely of home movie clips, taken 1942-1945, of the environment the Japanese Americans lived in during World War II in forced exclusion at the Topaz concentration camp near Delta, Utah.

This segment (01:39) shows the front page of the December 8, 1941 San Francisco Chronicle extra edition, announcing the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor; a handmade sign, "Evacuation Sale"; people carry trunks from the Tatsuno family's San Francisco department store, The Nichi Bei Bussan; someone holds a sign, "Utah", made of photo images; a child holds a copy of the Topaz high school yearbook, "'43 Ramblings"; the desert landscape surrounding the Topaz camp; camp buildings, including the co-op dry goods store that Tatsuno managed.
