A street market is held in the plaza outside the Liberdade Metro station every weekend. This photo was taken on a Saturday (Feb. 2, 2008). Sunday has a bigger crowd and more kids who are fans of Japanese anime come to hang out. The stalls sell food, clothing, jewelry and handmade crafts. Liberdade is the Asian district of Sao Paulo, Brazil.
