Janice Marion Wright LaMoree é filha de J. Marion Wright. Durante cinquenta e sete anos, de 1913 a 1970, seu pai foi advogado e amigo de japoneses nisseis e isseis nos Estados Unidos. Ele estava grato pela confiança depositada nele e orgulhoso de ser seu defensor. A família do Sr. Wright está honrada pelo fato de o Museu Nacional Nipo-Americano estar preservando o registro de suas realizações na busca pela justiça.
