Yosh Kuromiya


Yosh Kuromiya nasceu em Sierra Madre, Califórnia, em 1923. Ele frequentava o Pasadena Junior College quando estourou a Segunda Guerra Mundial com o bombardeio de Pearl Harbor. Ele e sua família foram encarcerados no Pomona Assembly Center, no condado de Los Angeles, Califórnia, e mais tarde enviados para o campo de concentração de Heart Mountain, Wyoming. My Dad was working as a gardener when I was born. Then, when I was in first grade, he dropped his gardening work to establish a fruit-stand business, which was just starting to do well when Pearl Harbor was attacked.
