George Suyeoka
George Suyeoka foi convocado para o Serviço de Inteligência Militar, com base em suas habilidades na língua japonesa. Serviu em Tóquio, Hokkaido e Ishikawa. Depois decidiu seguir a carreira artística e veio para Chicago para estudar na School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Trabalhou como artista comercial para grandes corporações e agências de publicidade, e como artista plástico. Ele é um ilustrador prolífico de livros infantis e de vários livros sobre contos folclóricos japoneses. Seu último trabalho é uma série de bebedouros de bronze com motivos de animais no Lincoln Park Zoo, em Chicago.

December 7, 1941 Kakaako, Honolulu, Hawaii. Sunday It is very early in the morning.
