David Mura
David Mura é poeta, escritor criativo de não ficção, crítico, dramaturgo e artista performático. Seu livro de memórias Turning Japanese: Memoirs of a Sansei ganhou o Josephine Miles Book Award de 1991 do Oakland PEN e foi listado no New York Times Notable Books of Year. Seu segundo livro de poesia, The Colors of Desire , ganhou o Prêmio Literário Carl Sandburg da Biblioteca Pública de Amigos de Chicago. Seu primeiro, After We Lost Our Way , venceu o Concurso Nacional da Série de Poesia de 1989. Seu trabalho mais recente é o romance Famosos Suicídios do Império Japonês .
