When I was doing Pirates, I – one of the men I met was Keith Richards. I had never heard of him, I didn’t know who he was, and I was having my makeup put on, and my eyes were closed, and I could feel someone holding my hand. And I opened them, and he said, “Hi, I’m Keith. So who are you?” And I told him who I was, and he was always so kind, and wonderful, and I would eat with him, and have a good time with him, but I didn’t know who he was. And after he left me, I asked the person – “Who is that?” And they said, “That’s Keith Richards,” but I didn’t want to ask “Who’s Keith Richards?” because everyone would be so excited: “Keith Richards is coming on the set! Keith Richards this, Keith Richards that,” and I thought – I went way off to a corner somewhere to call my daughter, and I said – I’m whispering, only because I don’t want anyone to hear me, but I said, “Who’s Keith Richards?” And she said, “Oh mom! Everyone loves him!” I think – oh, even before I met him, you know, I kept hearing about him. And then when I saw him, and then he’s this little bent over guy, walking, I thought, “Oh my, all the girls are crazy about him?” But he was so charming and loving. I was so crazy about him too! And John – you know, Johnny Depp was very nice and very friendly, but didn’t have that same warm personality that Keith Richards did. He was Mr. Charming.
