 ent featuring nine contemporary thematic maps of Japantown\, San Jose.\n \
 n &quot\;Please  join us for a special afternoon exhibit featuring a serie
 s of nine  thematic maps depicting contemporary Japantown.  In collaborati
 on with  the Japanese American Museum San Jose\, these maps were created b
 y the  students of Geography 135 at San Jose State University (taught by D
 r.  Kathrine Richardson).  \n \n The series examines many of the unique  e
 lements of Japantown\, and where this special neighborhood might be  heade
 d in the future.  The students will give a brief presentation of  each map
  between 2:13 p.m. and 3 p.m.  From 3 to 4 p.m.\, the students  will be ab
 le to discuss and engage with community members regarding the  continued d
