 ng>\n\nAs a graduate of the Osaka College of Music\, where she received he
 r  Bachelor of Music in Composition\, Tomomi Nishimoto is currently acting
   as the Principal Guest Conductor with the State Symphony Orchestra of  R
 ussia (Svetlanov Symphony Orchestra). Upon graduation\, Nishimoto went  ab
 road to the Saint Petersburg State Conservatory in Russia and pursued  fur
 ther study in opera and symphony conducting. She is a recipient of  numero
 us awards and scholarships\, including Agency for Cultural Affairs  of Jap
 an&rsquo\;s Internship in Arts and Music scholarship and Idemitsu Music  A
 ward.\n\nAs a talented conductor\, Nishimoto has held various appointments
  in  her career. From 2004 to 2006\, she served as the Principal Guest  Co
 nductor for the St. Petersburg Mussorgsky State Academic Opera and  Ballet
  Theatre. She has also served as the Chief Conductor and Artistic  Directo
 r for Russian Symphony Orchestra of the Tchaikovsky Foundation  from 2004 
 to 2007. Other accomplishment of Nishimoto&rsquo\;s during her time  in Ru
 ssia includes performance with the Moscow City Symphony Orchestra  &ldquo\
 ;Russian Philharmonic&rdquo\;. All these posts are seldom granted to those
  of  non-Russian background.\n\nNishimoto has been invited to numerous mus
 ic festivals as well. These  include: Split Summer Festival\, Dubrovnik Su
 mmer Festival\, Prague  Proms\, and Vilnius Music Festival. \n In 2007\, N
 ishimoto set her foot  into Europe with a successful performance at the Br
 uckner Orchestra Linz  concert held at Brucknerhaus in Austria. Capitalizi
 ng on her newly  gained notoriety in Europe\, she later performed with var
 ious European  ensembles. These include: Monte Carlo Philharmonic Orchestr
 a\, Budapest  Philharmonic Orchestra\, British Royal Philharmonic Orchestr
 a\, Romanian  State Philharmonic Orchestra (George Enescu)\, Lithuanian Na
 tional  Symphony Orchestra\, and Latvian National Symphony Orchestra.\n\nI
 n addition to her orchestral activities\, Nishimoto is also a  renowned op
 era conductor. Her work includes successful collaborations  with the Hunga
 rian State Opera House and the Prague State Opera.\n\nSince then\, she has
  also been working as a Young Global Leader for  the World Economic Forum\
 , which hosts annual meeting in Davos\,  Switzerland. Through her endeavor
 s to serve as a leader\, she has  attracted attention from around the worl
 d.\n\nLater this year\, she is scheduled to perform a concert with the  Li
 thuanian National Symphony Orchestra\, Latvian National Symphony  Orchestr
 a and with the Bruckner Orchestra Linz. On top of all these\, she  will al
 so make a foray into the United States by working with the  American Symph
 ony Orchestra. In Japan\, she is scheduled to be promoted  to be the Execu
 tive Producer of the Tokyo-To Hachioji-Shi Civic Center.
