By the end of the decade\, with the influx o f former residents of the West Coast\, the number of Japanese in Chicago g rew exponentially. But who were those early Japanese Chicagoans? Where and how did they live?\nOn&nbsp\;<strong>Sunday\, September 26</strong>\, we will meet some of the Japanese who lived in Chicago before World War II. M ayumi Hoshino\, doctoral candidate at Indiana University Bloomington\, wil l highlight some of the significant moments and key figures in the city's Japanese community between the 1890s and the early 1930s.
