Start your holiday shopping at the JAMsj Winter Boutique
Each year, the Japanese American Museum of San Jose (JAMsj) holds its only annual fundraiser, the JAMsj Winter Boutique. This year, the boutique will be held on Saturday, November 12, at the newly remodeled San Jose Buddhist Temple Betsuin, 640 North Fifth Street, in San Jose. Museum members will have early entrance privileges, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Those interested in becoming members that morning can also enter at 9:00 am after purchasing their museum memberships. General public hours begin at 10:00 a.m., with the boutique closing at 3:30 p.m.

Attendees should be prepared for a fantastic shopping experience featuring a wide variety of California artisans. This year’ s merchandise includes many handmade arts and crafts, including a wide array of Japanese-style gift items such as clothing, jewelry, washi paper crafts, and stationery. For more detail, see the list of participating vendors below.

Food and Silent Auction
Aside from the merchandise, be sure to check out the JAMsj refreshment center, where you will find a delicious assortment oftasty Japanese food.

Be sure to purchase a ticket for the donation drawings and sign up for items in the annual silent auction. Thanks to all the donors, local businesses, and artisans who have contributed to the silent auction this year.

We hope to see you at the JAMsj Winter Boutique on November. It will be a double whammy: raise money for JAMsj and start your Christmas shopping early!

JAMsj Members (early entry): 9 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
