She has served in a variety of positions\, includ ing Park Planner\, Chief of Interpretation and Education\, and Chief of Cu ltural Resources\, at diverse sites such as Santa Monica Mountains Nationa l Recreation Area in the Los Angeles area and Martin Luther King\, Jr. Nat ional Historic Site and Preservation District in downtown Atlanta. Through out her career she has worked with communities to make parks accessible to all\, to protect and preserve irreplaceable resources\, and to connect th e meaning and relevance of National Park Service sites with the public.
