En materia de deportes, también la influencia de los issei es directa y se introduce en Chile el baseball, especialmente en el norte y centro del país. Además se practica el deporte popular que es el fútbol.

El baseball prácticamente ha desaparecido en estos días habiendo sido bastante popular hasta los 1960’.
