シェリダン・タツノはイェール大学とハーバード大学ケネディスクールの卒業生で、著書に『 The Technopolis Strategy』 （Prentice-Hall、1986年）と『Created in Japan 』（HarperCollins、1990年）の2冊があります。彼は日系ヘリテージの寄稿者であり、全米日系アメリカ人歴史協会の顧問も務めています。彼は日本語、スペイン語、フランス語を話します。
